1 Million Kilo Challenge Update

I initially thought I was pushing my luck trying to raise $1000 for the Royal Women's Hospital's research into factors affecting preterm birth through the 1 Million Kilo Challenge. Since then, however, I've had to revise my goal three times, to $2000, then $3000, and now $4000, as the response to our story from family and friends has been so overwhelmingly generous.

Family and friends wanting to make positive changes to their own lives in honour of Max have also joined our team and pledged their own weight loss targets and exercise goals. If they too, can urge those they know to donate even a small amount each, we have the capacity to make a massive difference here for ourselves and for other people who might find themselves in our position in the future.

Because of your support, 'In Memory of Max' is the top fundraising team so far in the entire challenge! Look!

More than that, though, the fact that Max's name will be associated with something good, and that is story is known by others, is so important to me, and really soothes my heart.

Please click through to the widget on the left side of this page, or click this link to help us reach our goal. Every little bit helps, whether it's $1, $5 or $50. And please leave me a note to tell me how Max's story has inspired or touched you. It would be music to my ears.

Thank you so very much for showing your support for this very worthy cause.
